Donations

So, as noted, part of my mission or raison d’être is to channel scads of dosh into bird and conservation charities. To this end I’m giving 25p of every British Bird Tour book sale… nay, every single non-Sample book I sell, to the following peeps:

• RSPB, of course
• BTO, also of course
• the Hawk & Owl Trust and feel free to suggest any other raptor charity
• the brilliant wildlife rescue folk at Secret World
• and anyone (who I can find or you can think of) who tries to put raptors’ persecutors behind bars.

I’ll split the proceeds evenly between all these organisations. The total from 24 sales up to January 22 stands at… £13.00, so I’m waiting for a decent amount to distribute. And the biggest seller so far? 18 copies of Build a British Bird List, mostly through Amazon. Things are moving.

Now, any ideas for a good persecution-busting organisation?
