1-Day Bird Visit to London

London Guidebook

The latest addition to the self-guided tour books. Actually, they’re getting quite good now. I’ve added a link to a page of resources that I’ve used to put together the books. It also contains further links to B&Bs, pubs and so on that I’ve recommended. And the writing excerpts in the appendices have shrunk to make way for something useful – a checklist of British birds…

Nothing too radical about that, you might say, but this one is ordered by the relative ease with which you’ll see them (or hear them, especially in the case of wren). Bung a few migrant arrival/departure dates at the end of that and the outrageous price of £15 begins to look a snip.

It is rather a lot, isn’t it? That’s the trouble with one-off print runs. And ring binding but I decided that’s necessary for a book designed for use in the field.
